Welcome to KLVD Studios.

I'm Kava Ladek, a lifelong tabletop roleplaying gamer and Game Master with more than 20 years of experience building worlds, crafting adventures, and bringing stories to life around the gaming table.

Like many gamers, my journey into tabletop roleplaying started with someone who was passionate enough to invite me to the table. One of my closest friends, I will call him Vlad Dracul, introduced me to the hobby many years ago, and that single invitation changed the course of my life. What began as rolling dice with friends quickly became a lifelong passion for storytelling, creativity, and shared adventures. Over the years, we've created countless memories together, and I owe a great deal of my love for this hobby to that friendship. Unfortunately in 2022, he had a short battle with Ilness and he is no longer with us. I spent almost a year not even touching anything related to TTRPGs until i realized how much that I had missed it.

When it came time to create a name for my studio, I wanted something that represented more than just a brand. KLVD is built from my name, Kava Ladek, and my best friend's name Vlad Dracul, and serves as a reminder that every adventure has a beginning. For me, that beginning was sitting down at a table with friends and discovering a world where imagination had no limits. 

KLVD Studios exists because of that experience,because of my best friend and because I want to help create those same moments for others.

Today, my focus is Tales of the Valiant 

I created KLVD Studios to help players and Game Masters gain confidence in the game, deepen their understanding of its mechanics, and discover new ways to tell incredible stories. Whether you're creating your first character, learning the rules, preparing your next campaign, or looking for advanced Game Master techniques, my goal is to provide practical, experience driven content you can immediately use at your own table.

Through videos, articles, live Virtual Tabletop campaigns, and community discussions, I hope to inspire people to become better storytellers, stronger Game Masters, and more creative players. Tabletop roleplaying has given me friendships, unforgettable adventures, and lessons that extend far beyond the game itself. If I can help even one person discover the same joy that my friend shared with me all those years ago, then KLVD Studios has accomplished exactly what it was created to do.

At its core, KLVD Studios is about more than rules and dice.

It's about the friendships that begin around a table, the stories that stay with us long after the session ends, and the adventures that remind us why we play.
